Albino House Martin

 Very unusual sight up Beacon Lane for most of the day  . Originally thought to be a Swallow but later changed to a House Martin  but what a gorgeous little thing

 Wish I hadnt been going off that day and  stayed till I had  managed to get some better photos

Stayed down at the Canal Scrape for a couple of days then left as quickly as it came

 Its a shame they dont slow down now and then , I may just be able to get a decent picture

What can one say. 

Most of the time they wont let you near them, and then you get one that gets within feet of you. 

 Staying around for about four or five days its probably the most photographed Wryneck of the year.

 One of the nicest birds of the week showing in the Crown and Anchor car park.

RedBacked Shrike

Arriving late in the afternoon gave us good views from a distance . Couldnt catch up with it the following date.

Icterine Warbler

Lot of excitement  over the last few days with some new birds coming in

This Icterine Warbler spent a whole day attracting  birders by the dozen . Quite a little shower.

LittleRinged Plover

As the tide came in so did two Little Ringed Plovers.Nice little bird.

Juvenile Kestrel at Canal Hide

This juvenile was around the Canal Hide for about 4 days and gave us the best close up views we have ever seen    

 Sitting on one post then down on the ground then back up onto the next post

 Then one afternoon it even came in the hide and sat with us for about 5 minutes.

Absolute corker.
