Hybid Gyr 16/07/08
Found this raptor on "cliffs" by Campsite . It was later IDed as a possible Canadian Gyr Hybrid but nothing further has been heard. It had a satellite tracking device on its back so someone somewhere would have been a little bit anxious about its whereabouts . Would have liked to have heard a bit more.

Not the most liked bird but this one is showing its true colours . Beautiful markings and a pleasure to see . Well we thought so . You can make your own mind up. Spotted Flycatcher Catching its Breath
"Spotted" this little fellow on our way to the Chalk Bank Hide . He must have had a bit of a rough time of it as he virtually ignored us and allowed us to get this snap of him.
